DAY 1:
Departure at 6:00 AM via El Kantara towards Tozeur. Stop for photos at the famous salt lake Chott El Jerid, one of the largest salt flats in North Africa. Arrival in Tozeur and hotel check-in. In the afternoon, explore the mountain oases of Chebika and Tamerza, with an optional extension to Ong Jmal, a famous Star Wars filming location. Return to Tozeur for a visit of the old Medina with its unique desert architecture.
DAY 2:
Travel to Douz, known as the 'Gateway to the Sahara', for an optional camel ride or quad biking adventure across the dunes. After lunch, continue to Matmata to visit a traditional troglodyte house and discover Berber underground living. Return to Djerba in the late afternoon.
